Postby RacerBG » Mon Jul 29, 2013 9:16 am

You can download the mod here: ...

How to install:

1. Install season patch over GPW.

2. Open gpw.exe (change compatibility after right clicking the gpw.exe and selecting properties)

3. Choose a team, save a game and exit.

4. Patch the save with Gpw Patch and the .cst file in the C:/.../GPW/"gpwpatch" folder.

5. Now you can load the save in gpw.exe or the gpwxp.exe.

What it does change:

1994 gpw.exe
Driver images.
All cars from 1994
All car buttons (in the map view) from 1994.
Menu screens.
Added the map team location on the background .tga file.
1994 French, German and Italian -.txt files (except for the team intros).
New communication sounds during the race.
1994 team qualifying/race backgrounds.
Larrousse, Pacific and Simtek teams in extra folder.
Minardi and Sauber liveries in extra folder.

All credits goes to Simul810.

I've some questions:
I couldn't understand patching the save with cst.'s. There are numbers of cst's on there, which cst's gotta be used?
Other teams in the extra folders don't appear in game? How i make them work?
Circuits still 1998 calendar. Is there any patch of 1994 calendar?

Each .cst contains information of the game you want to play depending on the sponsors NT means some sponsors are replaced during several races and which 11th team is used.

There is a limit of eleven teams in the game unlike in the real 1994 season. Swapping the 11th teams information in the only way of managing 1 of the 14 F1 teams.

At the time of creating many season updates, including the 1994 season, there was no track editor for the game.
